Writer of fiction, poetry, etc - based in Vancouver BC
But there's nothing here yet. I'm just setting up the template and, because I don't really know how to set up a website, I'm doing that slowly. I already accidentally deleted the thing once, and I don't want to do anything awful again.
This "scribbles" subpage (blog; the website builder app calls it a blog) will become the home of all my social media posts, the poems and the excerpts and the little diary entries and etc. I want to also figure out how to do comment sections, because this is the internet and why not.
While you're waiting, do read all the business-y text the website template put in by default. I'll keep that for now, and its mildly entertaining here in our era of post-irony. In a day or two, it'll all be deleted and replaced with stuff I have posted on my social media elsewhere. I just need to decide how to do that. Am not even sure whether the newest post will automatically go at the top, or the bottom. This will likely become obvious tomorrow, when I start adding things, but I don't know at the moment of writing.
Today is Sunday, December 10th, 2023 I'm in Vancouver, which is home. I am a few days back from a week spent in Montreal, for a zine expo (Expozine--if you met me there, hi!), other such literary events, there were a couple, and just to be there. It was snowy; here it's rainy. I fell once in the snow there, and twice in the rain here since coming back. This seems backwards, but so it went.
