Taylor Gray Moore

Writer of fiction, poetry, etc - based in Vancouver BC

Okay, I’m going to try actually writing in this a bit more.

Starting to practice French a bit more seriously. Because I am spending more time in Montreal and may be spending even more time in the future. Another language, another world: that much is true. I was told that in Montreal, and it's stuck with me. I’d like another world.

Working as a product consultant this week. Today, being a Monday, was quiet. Making room for a bunch of Bordeaux coming in for a flash sale. I might get one of these Bordeaux, although I cannot afford it. Let’s see how my willpower goes.

Printed out booklet for the boat grandpa and I will be on in England. Looking forward to that.

Sitting here listening to Ville Emard Blues Band, about to start going over my notes for what I’ll be talking to Ari about tomorrow. He’s designing the cover for the book I’m self publishing.

I should get on that. Having a FaceTime call with Cali in half an hour or so. She’s working at a fire tower in Alberta right now. It’ll be good to talk to her. If I feel up to it tonight, I’ll write about the last time I saw her. It was a good day and a good story.

I missed several good stories in my quiet months. Some of them I can’t write down.

I’m not quite the guy from Synecdoche, New York—I just like a good story.

I wrote the above a week ago—this entry will followed by something I wrote in Montreal, and then possibly something I wrote in between.
