An update for this long-abandoned website:
I had been busy with applications, then I was sick for quite a bit, and then I got accepted into Oxford; and so then I was busy leaving my job at the LDB and starting out preparing for that full-time in these months prior to my starting there. The spring is in full-swing and the world is warming up; things are, roughly, looking up. Although I am buried under a weight of trials, some of which, sometimes, feel insurmountable. Looking for funding; getting my student visa; finishing the pile of nearly-finished writing projects I have lying around; getting Vancouver Observed out into the world (this month or next month! Keep an eye out!); and making my web presence a little more, well, present, and a little more professional.
This website will probably be moving to a new host soon and getting, hopefully, a makeover--as I have enlisted someone who better knows what they're doing. Same guy who helped me with Vancouver Observed, and that looks wonderful--so I have high hopes.
And then I'll sort out everything else. God willing. I have the time.
